As promised, the Your New Favorite Weight Watcher Chili Recipe. Enjoy. This is fantastic with the Weight Watchers Fabulous Spicy Corn Muffins Recipe. Get ready for some good food.
Ingredients:
- 7 oz ground turkey
- 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
- 1 cup canned Italian tomatoes, drained & chopped
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
What’s Next:
Spray large saucepan with non-stick spray & heat over medium-high heat.
Add turkey and onion. Using wooden spoon, crumble turkey meat. Cook on medium-high, stirring occasionally, until turkey is browned- about 5 minutes.
Add all remaining ingredients (did you think I was going to list all that again? Whew!) and stir until combined.
Reduce heat to low & allow to simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook until chili is thick & flavors have melded- about one hour.
Remove bay leaf (don’t eat that thing, dangerous to your health) and you’re ready to serve. Enjoy this delicious chili with your wonderful muffins.
