St. Patrick’s Day- Raise Up Your Hot Whiskey & Celebrate

Best diet for lifeFrom the Normans, Oliver Cromwell & Michael Collins; Ireland has a rich history worth celebrating this St. Patrick’s Day. Not only has Ireland brought us the likes of William Butler Yeats, Thomas Moore, Catherine Hayes, Arthur Guinness, Frank McCourt & of course, Bono- they have also brought us comforting & delicious food.

So this St. Patty’s day let’s raise our Irish coffee to a civilization & country to whom we owe so much! Now for the St. Patrick’s Hot Whiskey:

Ingredients:

  • boiling water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Irish whiskey
  • lemon slice
  • 2 whole cloves

What’s Next:

Heat a stemmed whiskey glass with hot water. Throw out the hot water & add boiling water. Throw out boiling water (watching where you thow it).

Pour in fresh, boiling water to a little more than half full & dissolve sugar.

Add whiskey, slice of lemon & cloves. Now you have a true, and warm, Irish hot whiskey to keep you company this evening! Enjoy and make another!

Eat well & Laugh often.
